ARTCRANK Announces MSP 2010 Artists…And I’m One Of Them!

January 20th, 2010  |  Published in Blargh, Design, Printmaking

I was very pleased to see a tweet from Charles over at Artcrank announcing the artists for the 2010 Minneapolis show, and even more pleased to find myself on the list amongst a big group of extremely talented artists and friends–including (but not limited to) Adam Turman, Aesthetic Apparatus, Amy Campbell, Amy Jo, Ben Levitz, Broken Crow, DWITT, Joseph Duffy and Spencer Haugh. It’s really exciting to be a part of the show and I’m looking forward to making some new art!
For those of you not in the know, Charles has been organizing and growing Artcrank, A Poster Party For Bike People, since 2007. It started here in my favorite biking town, Minneapolis, Minnesota, but has expanded to include Denver, St. Louis, Portland, San Francisco and Des Moines. I hear there’s a London event in the works, too. It’s a great way for artists to showcase their work and for broke-ass cyclists to pick up some affordable art. Artists produce limited-edition prints (mostly serigraphs) that are affordably-priced and often in standard sizes, making for easy framing.
